Shakira Tapped For ‘Desperate Housewives’ Campaign

There’s a She-Wolf on Wisteria Lane.

Shakira’s single “She Wolf” will be used in a promo campaign for the new season of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.” The campaign will feature Shakira’s video cut together with scenes from the new season of the show. A chyron with the song and album title will also be on the promo.

Shakira’s single, which is at No. 12 on the Hot 100 this week, was made available as a free download on the ABC Music Lounge last month. Her latest album on Epic, “She Wolf,” comes out Oct. 6.

Now it’s time to be a tease, and I don’t like being this way but I have no choice. Accidentaly, the promo pics for the 6th Season somehow leaked for a few minutes on Friday night and then they were taken away after it was known what happened. And I got to see them. There are lots this year, I managed to see 5 of Dana – wearing a red dress and black shoes – and all the rest from the castmembers. And also the group one, Dana wearing again a red dress and black shoes, and it’s holding a toaster with one hand and a fork with the other. The last thing I can say: the photos are themed in the 30/40s, and if you don’t know that was the golden era in Hollywood.

For what Tori and I know, they’re released tomorrow but anything can happen. We’ll post them as soon as we can of course, because if we do before the official release we can get in trouble.
