DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star Dana Delany suffered an eye infection recently after trying to compete with her co-stars’ bushy eyelashes. The actress has revealed that she was among the cast members who agreed to try a new cosmetics product, which promises to help ladies grow lush lashes – but she struggled with the side effects.
She says, “I used that stuff that all the women are using – the eyelash stuff to make their eyelashes grow… There’s a couple of ladies on the show, they have bushes for eyelashes. They have the longest eyelashes I’ve ever seen in my life. My eyes got all red and itchy… so I stopped using it… And you can get dark eyelids, but then you don’t need eyeliner.”
Poor Dana having to deal with all that! At least she was wise to stop using it and I personally think her eyelashes look great the way they are, and as long as her eyes are fine then everyone’s happy. From personal experience: having long eyelashes, as mine are so I know what I’m saying, sometimes can be a pain when you wear glasses and that’s just an example.

At least Dana had the sense to stop using it. It must been horrible especially on your eyes. ouch! xx

Dana doesn’t need to use that stuff. She’s perfect they way she is. If she needs eyelashes for an event or a photoshoot there’s always false eyelashes. Some come individually so each lash can be placed in a certain spot. Time-consuming, yes, but it looks much more natural.

I have long eyelashes too, when I was little they would get tangled together. sucked.
