During that time, visitors will be directed to a black page informing you that the site has gone dark and is not available. The site will re-open at 12am MT (January 19th, 2012).

Many of our affiliate sites will be going dark as well in protest including many of our sister sites.

To learn more about SOPA please visit Wikipedia here and PIPA at Wikipedia here. Wikipedia along with other websites around the web will also be going dark in protest of these bills.

I’m Diana and I’m the new girl working on the site, and I do mean just the site; I am not a fan of networking so all that work (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr) will be done by Tori like usual. Some may argue I don’t know what I am missing but I am good without them. If anyone wonders how I ended up here, I’ll make it simple: last week I was talking with Tori about how we were going to work on our new website for another actress and she asked me if I’d be interested on being part of this one, as she knows I’ve been a Dana fan for a long time, and I said yes without thinking it twice but that I’d only truly jump on board after I talked with Rebeca, out of respect and to let her know her former site would be in good hands, which I did and she gave me her blessing and so here I am.

But enough chatting about me and more about what we’re all here about. I’ve been working a little on the gallery adding new photos of past and new events, as well as new promos, posters and stills of Body Of Proof. A little explanation about the stills to avoid confusion: episodes 2.03 and 2.04 were originally part of the first season that sadly did not air fully in North America, and I added the stills of 2.03 in 1.12 and 2.04 in 1.09 to keep the right order even if it is altered by ABC.

Rebeca has been removed from the http://Dana-Delany.org staff due to a serious lack of judgment in regards to tweets she posted on the site’s Twitter earlier this evening. This is the last statement I will be making about it. I am apologizing to Dana for the incredible error in Rebeca’s judgment and promising that Rebeca will not be apart of this website again. Rebeca is a wonderful Dana fan, but this is unacceptable. I do NOT condone illegal downloading, pirating or sharing of Dana’s work and I buy every piece of it that goes into the site, even the rare stuff. We will not ever tell you where you can find Dana’s work online for download or streaming and often spend much time helping others to find legal ways instead to buy and view Dana’s work. This is a large blow to the website and it is very painful but I cannot let this slide. Rebeca’s tweets are no way affiliated with the sites views, and they were simply her own opinion. This kind of situation will not be happening again.

Amelia is coming aboard full time and we will be operating completely as normal.

We will miss Rebeca, a lot, like I know you guys will. And we wish her the best of luck on her other sites and whatever she chooses to do from now on. She has been amazing asset to Dana-Delany.org and it has been an honor running the site with her these last three years.

As you can tell we’ve got a gorgeous new layout. It was time for a change and with BOP finally starting with thought we’d make it very Megan-y. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do, it’s a lot more organized this time around and I’m really liking that. I’ve still got some things to tweak on it but for now it’s pretty much finished!

As we have every year for the last 3 years, Rebeca and I, (and I know all of you) wish Dana a very happy 55th birthday. Dana has been an joy and wonder for as long as we’ve followed her and we eagerly look forward to what this new year brings. With her just joining Twitter it is probably the best present any of us could have gotten, we can now interact with her like we never could before. Body of Proof begins right away and Dana has new projects just on the horizon.

She has been a delight to follow and we are thankful each and every day for how good she is to her fans, her wit, her charm and her wisdom have inspired so many and ever year younger and younger fans come into the fold. Rebeca and I are thankful to have found Dana and her work because without her we wouldn’t have found so many of you wonderful people.

We look forward to celebrating everyday with you guys, for as long as she’s acting and singing (not that she does that publically, shut up Amelia) we’ll be there supporting her. And we hope you will be too. <3

Rebeca and I wish both wish you guys a very Happy New Year. You’ve all be wonderful this year and we’ve really loved getting to chat and get to know you. It’s been a great year for Dana news, with BOP finally getting it’s premiere date and tons of news flooding in for that we’ve been very busy keeping you up to date and have loved every minute of it! The gallery has been through some ups and downs and is still the #1 Dana area on the internet, we’re very proud of that and will continue to be the hotspot in the New Year. Trauma actor Cliff Curtis is joining the cast of ABC’s Dana Delany-led midseason drama Body of Proof in a recurring capacity, sources confirm to me exclusively. Curtis — who also appeared in The Last Airbender as the evil Fire Lord Ozai — will play Derek Ames, a top forensic consultant for the FBI and a potential love interest for Delany’s divorced medical examiner.

ABC has yet to assign a premiere date for Proof. The procedural was originally set to air on Fridays at 9 pm, but the network delayed its launch in order to find a stronger time slot.

We know we haven’t been active for the past couple of weeks or so but we’ve been dealing with a few things, personal stuff. We both have been with exams and working in other stuff which is why we slowed down.

However, we’re going back to our usual programing this week even if Dana news are slow as ever but we have things to work on in the gallery. And although it’s not confirmed, I bet BOP production will start between 12th and 19th July, probably. Just like any US tv show that airs in the fall; I still find it amusing when people react at those news like ‘OMG so soon?’, it’s always been that way and if you were in fandom long enough you’d know about it.

You say goodbye, and I say hello!

No we are not going anywhere, but we are saying goodbye to our old layout and hello to our new one! In honor of a very successful first year the theme is Vintage Dana, although not really. This layout is also a present to my coweb, Rebeca, who turns 21 on the 13th! We are also sporting a brand new gallery layout featuring Dana then and now. The photos come from various shoots and the last one an event from 2010. So the 80′s to now.

I hope you all enjoy the new layouts, I know that I think they are quite smashing.

There are a few problems we need to fix and it’s better to have it closed temporally until then, hopefully it won’t be too long.

In the meantime, we’ll try to find a way to provide all the new Dana photos, if there’s any, while the gallery’s down. Yesterday she was supposed to be in Washington attending an event for The Creattive Coalition and no photos. And there’s another on Thursday for TCC as well, but right now don’t ask me if it’s again in Washington or NYC this time.
