Hello, everyone! I’m Diana and I’m the new girl working on the site, and I do mean just the site; I am not a fan of networking so all that work (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr) will be done by Tori like usual. Some may argue I don’t know what I am missing but I am good without them. If anyone wonders how I ended up here, I’ll make it simple: last week I was talking with Tori about how we were going to work on our new website for another actress and she asked me if I’d be interested on being part of this one, as she knows I’ve been a Dana fan for a long time, and I said yes without thinking it twice but that I’d only truly jump on board after I talked with Rebeca, out of respect and to let her know her former site would be in good hands, which I did and she gave me her blessing and so here I am.
But enough chatting about me and more about what we’re all here about. I’ve been working a little on the gallery adding new photos of past and new events, as well as new promos, posters and stills of Body Of Proof. A little explanation about the stills to avoid confusion: episodes 2.03 and 2.04 were originally part of the first season that sadly did not air fully in North America, and I added the stills of 2.03 in 1.12 and 2.04 in 1.09 to keep the right order even if it is altered by ABC.
Seems to me our lady loves to play host when it comes to the TV Academy Honors, out of four editions she’s going to host it for the third time and consecutive!
For the fourth consecutive year, the organization behind the prime-time Emmys will salute eight programs that exemplify “television with a conscience.” Two-time Emmy champ Dana Delany(“China Beach”) returns for the third time to host the May 5th event at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
This year’s honorees tackled such serious subjects as sexual abuse and assault, racism, mental health, teen pregnancy, autism, living with a life-threatening disease and childhood obesity. They are episodes of “The Big C,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood” and “Private Practice,” the reality series “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution,” a two-part “Oprah” show, and the documentaries “The 16th Man” and “Wartorn 1861-2010.”
Full descriptions of each title can be found below.
We may not see Dana on Wisteria Lane and so Katherine causing havoc anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean our lady won’t be back on set! She’s been confirmed to attend the Wisteria Lane Blockparty on April 16th, as well as former cast members Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.
Band From TV (James Denton, Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, Scott Grimes, Adrian Pasadar, Bob Guiney, Jesse Spencer and special guest Teri Hatcher) will be performing.
