I just tweeted about this but I’d rather explain it better.

For some months, I’ve been thinking about creating some goodies and Tori always liked the idea. Lately, the more I think of it the more I want to do it, so it will happen soon.

I guess everything will be on the Multipedia page, but it’s not sure yet. But we’ll let you know where to find it.

Anyway, what will you find here? Wallpapers, banners, icons and my craziest idea of all: a calendar. I recently had to make one and I liked it, I run this idea to Tori and she liked it as well so it’s going to happen. I’ll be posting monthly each new page – yes I know it’s 21st Jan but I’ll even make a January page – and I’ll include on it DH airing days among other things. At times it will be Dana on character or just her, it will depend on how I feel about it.

Also, I might custom some layouts for Livejournal. You can check this website’s community on LJ, which was how this whole thing started and so why I think of all these as my baby. You can check it HERE.

And yes, everything will be made by me. At least so far, we’ll see if at some point we accept artwork from other artists or anything like that. If we ever agree on accepting work from others, we will make a post about it, but we do not admit anything up to now. I just want to make things clear for everyone so nobody gets confused.

In both our names, we’d like to wish everyone a happy Halloween! Hope you all are having fun and even dressing up, if you’re going somewhere or just for fun. Sadly as where I am it’s hardly celebrated and I’m even sick I decided to do something fun about it and I hope you all like it!

Also I made a huge versions which you can see HERE and HERE and yes, it is the DH Season 6 poster completely edited; some may think how come I am not posting any of these on Dana’s site and the answer is very simple: neither Tori nor I are ever allowed to post on her website anymore. Some of you knew, others didn’t but now you all do. Someone there thinks we are competition when fansites are only to show support to well the person, Dana in this case, and spread word around of what she does.

Anyway, I have something waiting for later today as a Halloween surprise and I’m sure everyone will like it, if not love it.

We’ve got the first trailer for Dana’s movie Multiple Sarcasms, thanks to fan Andie for the heads up. Multiple Sarcasms tells the story of Gabriel played by Timothy Hutton (Dana’s Kidnapped co-star and tv husband), a middle aged, successful architect who goes through a mid-life crisis and becomes a playwright.

We’re proud to say we found this bit of video FIRST, but of course was rejected (Well, Andie was rejected. She’s our new D-D video Queen. She was angry after being rejected because Reg didn’t like the video, so we snatched her up ) check out her channel [All Dana, All the Time] @http://youtube.com/mayfairshewolf) when posted for Dana at the forum. From now on, when we refer to her site, we direct it as, for Dana, or Dana’s site. Because it’s her website and forum, not her prick of a webmasters. Despite what he seems to think.

Having posted all that, we’d like to officially welcome Andie. She won’t be here full time but she’ll be here and there. Be sure to subscribe to her YT Channel for all the Dana videos you could ever need, a la massive collection and likely heart failure. XD

Okay, we do know Tori and I run this for our love for Dana and so a fansite about her and for her fans done for fans. However, one of our sister sites which Tori runs as the boss and I’m one of the admins of, is down. And so this is why I’m making this post.

One of the servers of our host was hacked last night, or early in the morning depending on where you live, and sadly it happened to be the one in which Desperatefans.org is hosted at. Of course, all the sites in that server were affected as much as ours. All seemed to be fine as there was a back up, from 27th August. Sadly… Here comes the worse. When the host’s server started to do a restore, all the backups were accidentally deleted. This means all is gone and all have to be started from the scratch. All we had is gone, we have to start all over again. Yes, it includes the forum too. This is something that escapes our control, so those of you upset about it please calm down. We’re going to need time to bring it all back, especially the gallery as we had over 130,000 images already. There’s so much work head of us, it’s going to be hard but we will make it and we’ll be back.

So please bear with us, not only the D-D team, but the whole DFO one. We all will work hard to bring it back as soon as we can so all we can ask from you all is patience. Thank you.

We just wanted to let you know that parts of the gallery are undergoing a little maintenance, and we’ll bring them back up to the public eye, and so for you all, as soon as we can. We’re sorry for this, but it’s something we need to do.

As some of you know, we’ve been having trouble with the webmaster of Dana’s site and we are not the only ones whose posts are edited at his own will or not approved at all. In fact, neither Tori or I are allowed to post anything regarding this site, even if it’s only sharing new photos from events or promos from movies or tv shows. In fact, if you check on of the forum rules in Dana’s site? It is a shout out to us. And this is why we created our own forum here for fans, we have of course rules but everyone’s free to post when they want, without having to wait to get their post through even if it does.

So yesterday I made a header for our forum, and as I loved it that much I had an idea which was somehow trick the webmaster of Dana’s site posting something that belongs to this place. How you ask? Well I’m glad to announce that I am going to start making goodies for our site: wallpapers, banners, icons… You know, all that kind of thing.

Anyway, so I made the wallpaper and on the lower side on the left you can read dana-delany.org and you can check it right HERE. So after it was done, I uploaded it and posted it as part of a new message on Dana’s forum, and what was my surprise when it got through! Something belonging to this site and it got there? My, my… Ain’t we tricky? Of course, if he had decided no to approve it or edit it? I would have had a word or two with him as last year I was able to post a few icons and even give links to new stuff I made.

Also, it now seems to me and Tori this might be, yet we of course do not know, why Dana sounded so upset in her latest post, as it turns out the webmaster created a Facebook for her, saying it was her official one and she was never part of it, and so never used it! Of course, his latest shoutout about pages about Dana on Facebook and MySpace? For the one we also run on Facebook as fanpage application. On the disclaimer we never say we’re affiliated in any way, shape or form with her or her team at all. So he was and is upset with us for running a fanpage but he did that fake official page?
