If you follow us on twitter then you’ll know I asked about if you guys wanted BOP spoilers or not. Seeing as all the replies were positive, here they are! However, I’m only posting the ones regarding Dana’s character, Dr. Megan Hunt. Please note I gathered this myself and the only other place you’ll find them will be in our sister sites, at least with our permission.

Megan’s divorced, it was quite a disaster and lost Lacey’s custody to her now ex, Todd. Turns out she wasn’t a fit parent, when she and Todd work the same hours.

Parestesia. The reason why Megan’s no longer a neurosurgeon, as a result of a car crash a few years ago and killing a patient finished her career. Her hands go numb, she’s unable to hold her instruments or her hands go shaky at times, which is why you’ll see her holding her hands together or rubbing or stroking them to try to control it. Nowadays, there’s no real treatment for parestesia and it is hard to detect, even harder to deal with.

She’ll butt heads with everyone to solve a case. To others it may not matter what or how it happen, but to Megan does.

Lacey, Megan’s teenage daughter, will have some fights with her mother like the upcoming one in the second episode, Letting Go. while she’s in a horseriding lesson. Things get better by the end of the episode, as Megan goes to Lacey’s competition and supports her from a position both of them find comfortable.

In episode three, Buried Secrets, we’ll meet Megan’s mother: Judge Joan Hunt, with who Megan has a complicated and seemingly contentious relationship. Also, we’ll find out that when Megan was just an eight year old her father commited suicide.

In episode six, Taking Heads, Megan allows Lacey to follow her around with a camera for a school project; Megan’s not really happy about it but at least it gives her another chance to spend time with her daughter.

In episode seven, Helping Hand, the vic is Elena Rosas, Megan’s former patient. Megan’s shocked as she doesn’t recognize Elena until she checks her surgery stitches and also because she never knew how much she influenced on Elena’s life. As if that wasn’t enough, Megan shocks everyone as she wants to get to know them better.

In episode ten, Dead Man Walking, Megan’s forced to deal with her past, the patient she killed in the operating table as the case deals with a medical malpractice cover up.

In episode eleven, Second Chances, we find out Megan’s boss, Kate Murphy, is dating Todd Flemming… Megan’s ex husband! This, makes Megan long even more for a closer relationship with Lacey but it doesn’t work out as she wants as Todd takes both Lacey and Kate out of town for the wekeend.
