So two updates in one! A new photoshoot which in truth is old as for Dana’s hair I’d say it was taken while she was filming Pasadena. And Dana was out last night at The Cool Comedy-Hot Cuisine Fundraiser To Benefit The Scleroderma Research Foundation, like usual even if we didn’t see her in the past two SRF events, bet she went ninja haha. Also, if you notice, it’s the very same dress she wore to the Third Academy Honors earlier this month but with a different pattern/print, the design is the same even if she pulled it up some more to show more skin. If anyone’s interested both dresses are Dolce & Gabbana.

There are no photos of this, so far, but we know Dana was there last night to promote Body Of Proof, as well as her new cast mate Jeri Ryan…. And Stana Katic for Castle…. And Julie Benz for No Ordinary Family.

It was an event to introduce the ten new shows for international buyers/broadcasters and also to remind the nine returning shows. And also, they were lucky to see Lost in as exclusive preview – mind you, Jeri Ryan must’ve been happy about that as she was sad to miss the finale for being there.

So far this is all the info I have, if there’s more, I’ll update.

Two years ago, our historic September 5, 2008 fundraising telecast brought all three major networks – CBS, ABC and NBC – together in an unprecedented collaboration. Today we are very excited to announce that we’re returning to primetime on September 10th to continue broadening public support for our mission of funding groundbreaking, collaborative cancer research. This morning, network evening news anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams appeared on CBS’ “The Early Show,” ABC’s “Good Morning America,” and NBC’s “Today Show” to talk about the upcoming telecast and the progress SU2C has made in the two years since our launch. Check out the clips below.

Source – it has clips of the announcement for those of you interested.

If you wonder why we’re posting this is simple:

1) If you check the right sidebar, it’s one of the orgs we support.

2) Also Dana supports this one, she was at the telecast 2 years ago (mamogram moment anyone?) and she’s one of the ambassadors/spokesperson.

So my guess is that Dana will be there this year again. And I’ve been thinking about buying one of the shirts for a long time, maybe now I do it.

And here we are!! Already bringing the promos and stills of the show, well more. And all HQ! The group shot is different than the one we already posted though. Enjoy.

“BODY OF PROOF”
Dr. Megan Hunt (Dana Delany) was in a class of her own, a brilliant neurosurgeon at the top of her game. But her world is turned upside down when a devastating car accident puts an end to her time in the operating room. Megan resumes her career as a medical examiner, determined to solve the puzzle of who or what killed the victims. Her instincts are sharp, but she’s developed a reputation for graying the lines of where her job ends and where the police department’s begins. It turns out her career isn’t the only thing that will need to be rebuilt; Megan’s family has taken a backseat to her ambition, and now she’s discovering there’s a lot of work to do when it comes to dissecting her relationships with the living.

Dana Delany stars as Dr. Megan Hunt, Jeri Ryan as Dr. Kate Murphy, Geoffrey Arend as Dr. Elliot Gross, John Carroll Lynch as Detective Bud Morris, Windell Middlebrooks as Dr. Curtis Brumfield, Nic Bishop as Peter Dunlap and Sonja Sohn as Detective Samantha Baker.

“Body of Proof” is from ABC Studios. Christopher Murphey wrote the pilot, which was directed by Nelson McCormick. Murphey and Matt Gross serve as executive producers.

I already claim the first victim and murder of the show: it’s timeslot. Usually shows airing on Friday, and even more if they’re new, go straight to hell. Sure there are exceptions like CSI as it started on Fridays at 10 pm (thanks to E for the reminder) or even Ghost Whisperer still airing on Fridays, but I just heard Friday and Dana show in the same sentence and I see it gone… Pasadena aired on Fridays at 8 pm. Sure different shows but nobody ever wants to be in that slot.

ABC

The Alphabet already has some bright spots in its lineup (its Wednesday comedy block, the one-two punch of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters on Sunday night), but with the loss of Lost and the lack of any real strength in the 10 p.m. hour (Castle being perhaps the exception), its drama pickups will be scrutinized.

Three promising pilots have already been green-lit: No Ordinary Family, starring The Shield’s Michael Chiklis and Dexter’s Julie Benz as the heads of a family with special powers; Body of Proof, which borrows Housewives’ Dana Delany as a medical examiner; and Shonda Rhimes’ Off the Map, which is kind of like Grey’s Anatomy in the jungle.

So today we’re working on the gallery to fix a few things so that means photos come and go all the time, but right now all the photoshoots removed are back! And also I added two more as an extra.

Contrary to the official update, this was released yesterday:

The producers of “Desperate Housewives” will have quite a few homes to fill after the finale on Sunday, May 16 on ABC.

Susan (played by Teri Hatcher) is putting her house up for rent. Angie (played by Drea de Matteo) and her family are leaving. And, now, it seems another house may get a “for sale” sign. ABC has picked up Dana Delany’s pilot, “Body of Proof.”

When the news broke that Delany had signed on to a pilot, it seemed that she was looking for a new opportunity. Executive producer, Bob Daily, told Zap2it exclusively that as far as he knows, that wasn’t true.

“Actually, ABC approached her,” Daily tells us. “She actually went back and forth as to whether she should move on. I think she was having just so much fun on the show, but ABC really wanted her to do this pilot. And, listen, Dana’s great. She should be the lead in her own series and she has been before – an Emmy-winning lead in ['China Beach'].”

In fact, he says Delany had cold feet about leaving the successful series for a pilot that may or may not leave her unemployed in the end.

“I know that Dana came into us,” Daily explains. “And said, ‘I’m not sure I want to do this.’ That was when [creator Marc Cherry] said to her, ‘If it doesn’t work out, you’ll always have a place here. So, don’t let that cloud your decision.’ ”

Daily says that’s why they chose to keep her character Katherine’s storyline open-ended this season.

Well, Zap2it thinks that’s a no-brainer for the star.
