Hello Hello you lot, long time no see. LA was grand. I didn’t get to Wisteria Lane though, as they were shooting!
So, as you have probably noticed Rebeca and I have not been posting our news and whatnots on DanaDelany.com, and we will no longer do so. We chose to leave DD and he has banned us, we are no longer welcome to post.. anything. Website related or Dana related. Like we care. Our work is not appreciated by Reg, as he considers us trying to gain fans and traffic. So from now on, other then posts from Dana herself, no post from DD.com will ever grace the page of Dana-Delany.org.
My friend made a wonderful discovery the other day, she found a a copy of her VHS’s with the complete series Pasadena on them. She’s sent them to me and I am capping them now and making clips for youtube and desperate-housewives.net (our media website). The first place they’ll get posted though is the forum 
I apologize now for the quality of the screencaptures, they are very grainy and hard on the eyes but that’s what happens when a VHS gets converted to DVD. It’ll just have to do until the DVD release though; Whenever that may be.
A few users have also asked if it is possible to post the Desperate Housewives screencaptures of Dana, we would like to know if you’d like to see them here. With luck they may be easy to move over from Desperatefans.org
So today we have new promos from Seasons 4 and 5, the one from the 5th has never seen before and it’s UHQ! Oh and this never seen before photograph has not been gone under photoshop, which means Dana looks real even if she has make up on and her hair done. And also, I uploaded all the Season 4 episode stills featuring Dana/Katherine on them.

Actress to serve as co-president of arts org
Dana Delany has been named co-president of the Creative Coalition, the nonprofit org that advocates for increased support of the arts and other causes.
Delany, one of the stars of ABC sudser “Desperate Housewives,” succeeds Tony Goldwyn and will join Tim Daly in the leadership of the org, along with exec director Robin Bronk.
Founded in 1989, the org has earned its greatest share of recent publicity for numerous fetes it has co-sponsored tied to the Democratic and Republican conventions and theWhite House Correspondents dinner. Delany moderated an event with White House social secretary Desiree Rogers in June.
Delany said she expected that support for the arts will be high on the org’s agenda in the coming months, and she planned to meet soon with Broadway producer Rocco Landesman, the recently confirmed chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts who Delany counts as a personal friend. Delany recalled having lunch with him late last year and encouraging him to seek the NEA gig. He did the same for Delany when she was mulling whether to take her spot on the Creative Coalition.
Delany said that an encouraging sign is that “we have a White House that is arts friendly, so we are happy about that.” The NEA, for instance, received some $50 million in funding from the stimulus bill.
Landesman said in a recent interview with the New York Times that he would pursue significant funding increases from the current $155 million allocation and promote the idea of the economic boost that comes from such funding.
As a nonpartisan org, the Creative Coalition has stayed out of the partisan fray, and its lobbying outlay is a fraction of other groups. The Creative Coalition spent $40,000 on lobbying through Quinn Gillespie & Associates in 2008, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Another org that lobbies for arts support, Americans for the Arts, spent just over $260,000.
Although the culture wars of the 1990s saw Republicans targeting the NEA, Delany suggested that even die-hard conservatives realize the benefits of the arts.
“I love the fact that Tom DeLay is on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ ” she said of the former House majority leader, who will be a competitor on the upcoming season of ABC hoofer competish. “It’s a great example of a Republican who says dancing makes him happy. That’s the arts.”

Shakira Tapped For ‘Desperate Housewives’ Campaign
There’s a She-Wolf on Wisteria Lane.
Shakira’s single “She Wolf” will be used in a promo campaign for the new season of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.” The campaign will feature Shakira’s video cut together with scenes from the new season of the show. A chyron with the song and album title will also be on the promo.
Shakira’s single, which is at No. 12 on the Hot 100 this week, was made available as a free download on the ABC Music Lounge last month. Her latest album on Epic, “She Wolf,” comes out Oct. 6.
Now it’s time to be a tease, and I don’t like being this way but I have no choice. Accidentaly, the promo pics for the 6th Season somehow leaked for a few minutes on Friday night and then they were taken away after it was known what happened. And I got to see them. There are lots this year, I managed to see 5 of Dana – wearing a red dress and black shoes – and all the rest from the castmembers. And also the group one, Dana wearing again a red dress and black shoes, and it’s holding a toaster with one hand and a fork with the other. The last thing I can say: the photos are themed in the 30/40s, and if you don’t know that was the golden era in Hollywood.
For what Tori and I know, they’re released tomorrow but anything can happen. We’ll post them as soon as we can of course, because if we do before the official release we can get in trouble.
Although still part of it is under maintenance, and so you cannot have access to check it, that doesn’t mean we don’t add new content!

As some of you know, we’ve been having trouble with the webmaster of Dana’s site and we are not the only ones whose posts are edited at his own will or not approved at all. In fact, neither Tori or I are allowed to post anything regarding this site, even if it’s only sharing new photos from events or promos from movies or tv shows. In fact, if you check on of the forum rules in Dana’s site? It is a shout out to us. And this is why we created our own forum here for fans, we have of course rules but everyone’s free to post when they want, without having to wait to get their post through even if it does.
So yesterday I made a header for our forum, and as I loved it that much I had an idea which was somehow trick the webmaster of Dana’s site posting something that belongs to this place. How you ask? Well I’m glad to announce that I am going to start making goodies for our site: wallpapers, banners, icons… You know, all that kind of thing.
Anyway, so I made the wallpaper and on the lower side on the left you can read dana-delany.org and you can check it right HERE. So after it was done, I uploaded it and posted it as part of a new message on Dana’s forum, and what was my surprise when it got through! Something belonging to this site and it got there? My, my… Ain’t we tricky? Of course, if he had decided no to approve it or edit it? I would have had a word or two with him as last year I was able to post a few icons and even give links to new stuff I made.
Also, it now seems to me and Tori this might be, yet we of course do not know, why Dana sounded so upset in her latest post, as it turns out the webmaster created a Facebook for her, saying it was her official one and she was never part of it, and so never used it! Of course, his latest shoutout about pages about Dana on Facebook and MySpace? For the one we also run on Facebook as fanpage application. On the disclaimer we never say we’re affiliated in any way, shape or form with her or her team at all. So he was and is upset with us for running a fanpage but he did that fake official page?
The newest network in a long line of DFO family webbing. Dana Delicious now has it’s own forum just for the fans. Easy to use and very familiar, members shouldn’t have trouble posting their hearts out about their favorite brunette. Also it’s a little more freer, so hopefully discussions and picture sharings, etc will go a little smoother then they have been.
